CAREER AWARENESS CLASS (For Girls)

in association with LIC Ernakulam Division




 A Career Awareness Class for girls was organized by the Career Guidance, Counselling, and Placement Cell of TKMMC, in collaboration with the LIC Ernakulam Division. The event took place in the Seminar Hall at 2:30 PM, beginning with a warm welcome speech delivered by Dr. Divya Dinesh. The session was presided over by Dr. Rajeev S. R., with a felicitation ceremony conducted by Dr. Parvathy U. The discussion was led by Sri K. Biju, Chief Manager of LIC Ernakulam, and Sri B. Ravi Kumar, a retired Senior Business Activist. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from a student representative. Approximately 80 students participated, and the session proved to be highly beneficial for them.

National Librarian's Day Celebration organized by College Library


In connection with National Librarian's day College Library organized a Seminar on August 12, 2024 focused on the topic of 'Reading Unbound'.

The session began at 2.00pm with an invocation. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Rakhi Raj, Coordinator and U G C Librarian. College Principal Dr. Rajeev S R delivered the presidential address, which was followed by the Inauguration and Keynote address by Shri. Ebi Pappachan on the topic 'Reading Unbound' . The session saw active participation from students and faculty alike with engaging discussion and questions for Shri. Ebi Pappachan. The interactive nature of the session contributed to a comprehensive understanding of the topic discussed.

Dr. Biju P R, U G C Librarian K S M D B College, Sasthamkottah, felicitated the seminar. The vote of thanks was extended by C K Unnithan, Library lnternship Student of T K M M College. He expressed  gratitude to Shri. Ebi pappachan for sharing his valuable knowledge and thanked all attendees for their active participation. He also acknowledged the efforts of the organizers  in ensuring the success of the Seminar .

 NSS unit of T.K. Madhava Memorial College, Nangirkulangara ,organised a “Blood donation camp” on 08/08/2024 at college seminar hall. The camp was conducted in association with HDFC bank and National cadet corps 8(k) BN Mavelikkara. The camp stared around at 10 am in the morning.  The welcome speech was done by Mr Sanoop Sivaraman (NSS program officer).The program was inaugurated by Lt. Seena. V ( Associate NCC officer ) and a brief speech was given by Lt. Seena about the importance of donating blood. Mis Saranya Babu ( NSS program officer ) also delivered a small speech. The students and teachers from various departments donated blood. Apart from students, many common people also participated in the program. The blood collected from this campaign was to be given to the T.D. Medical college hospital, Vandanam. The NSS unit of college had arranged for refreshments for those who donated blood In the campaign. Students and other people who had participated in this blood donation camp were given certificate. To watch over the entire process and to collect  blood, a team of 6 members including a Doctor from T.D. Medical college hospital were present at the venue. After the completion of the blood donation ,Mr Sanoop Sivaraman(NSS program officer) thanked and appreciated everyone present at the camp. The program has been concluded around 1 pm.
