 National Science Day Celebrations 2025

             











The official inauguration of science day celebrations commenced with an invited talk. The session started with a prayer by physics choir. The coordinator of the program Dr Induja I J, Science club coordinator & Assistant Professor, Department of Physics welcomed the dignitaries. Dr Vinod Haridas, Principal in charge chaired and delivered the presential address. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Biju S, Dr. Brahmaprakash Professor, VSSC, Thiruvanthapuram. Dr.Biju also delivered a talk about India’s space missions Dr Parvathy U, IQAC Coordinator felicitated the program and Smt. Saranya Babu, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics conveyed vote of thanks.105 participants attended the session. Apart from this, colouring competition for UP students and also science kit making competition for high school students were also conducted. 

Over 11 students participated in colouring competition from various schools in Alappuzha district participated in the competition. The first, second and third prizes for colouring competition were Devadarshan (Std.6), Bishopmoore Vidyapedam, Kayamkulam, Adwaith Krishna (Std.5) ,Vidya public school, Karuvatta and Jancy Anna Cheriyan (Std 7), Bethany Central School, Nangiarkulangara .




5 students actively participated in Science kit making competition. Adityan B and Famidha, Bethany Central school bagged first prize.

In the afternoon session a quiz competition was conducted by Mathematics Department. Both students from UP and High school sections participated in the competition. Mukhil Sajan and Gautham Krishna V, Ambalapuzha Govt. Model HSS bagged first prize. Over 7 teams participated in the competition.

Another landmark moment for TKMMC, as we bagged 66th Rank in Kerala Institutional Ranking Framework (KIRF)


                       The Kerala Institutional Ranking Framework (KIRF) is a set of metrics for the ranking of higher education institutions in the State and is, based on the agreed parameters approved by the KSHEC. T K Madhava Memorial College, Nangiarkulangara has secured 66th position in the rank list.

Audio Podcast and Film Review Competition as part of World Radio Day Celebrations Organized by Media Club & Film Club on

 On the occasion of World Radio Day 13-02- 2025,    Media Club in association with Film Club  organized  Audio Podcast Competition and Film Review Competition. About 20 students from various  departments participated in the competitions and all participants were provided with participation certificates. 
 

Essay Writing Competition as part of National Women's Day Celebration (13.02.25) organized by Literary and Debate Club in Association with Communication Skill Development Club


 On the occasion of World Women's  Day 13-02- 2025,    Literary & Debate Club in association with  Communication Skill Development Club  organized  Audio Podcast Competition and Film Review Competition. About 20 students from various  departments participated in the competitions and all participants were provided with participation certificates.
