PG & Research Department of Physics celebrated National Space Day in association with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on 8th August 2025 & 12th August 2025 .
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teaching and non-teaching staff across various disciplines, and featured a range of engaging activities including:
- Painting Competition (Theme: Space Tourism")
- Essay Writing Competition (Theme: Space vision 2047 & beyond)
- Science Fiction Short Story Writing (Theme: "Life of a Child Born on the Moon")
- Literary Appreciation of the short film “FTL – Faster Than Light”
- Rocket Model Making Competition
- Astro-Photography Exhibition (photos displayed during the valedictory function)
