Quizmas Season 2, Episode 2

                    The Department of English conducted an interdepartmental quiz competition on 20th July 2023. “Great teamwork is the only way we create the breakthroughs that define our careers" likewise it was also a teamwork by the Department of English.

            The event started at about 2.00 pm in the afternoon. The quiz was based on two renowned works: Arachar  the Malayalam novel by KR Meera and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. The programme was conducted under the supervision and guidance of Ms. Athira M. Raj, Assistant Professor, Department of English.

           The competition consists of four rounds. The first round is General round which have 10 questions and each carries 10 marks. Second round is Puzzle round and marks are given according to the correct answers marked . Third round is Spin round it have 12 questions and each team will be provided with 2 questions and carries 10!mark. The fourth and final round is Rapid Fire round and contains 18 questions each team has to answer for three questions and carries 10 marks. The participants were from  different departments in the college; Economics, Chemistry, Zoology, Mathematics and Commerce. The competition exhibited a remarkably high level of intensity. The questions asked were usually challenging. The participants are under immense pressure to answer the questions correctly and beat their opponents and team Chemistry was leading in the score board upon the completion of second episode Quizmas Season 2.

                          Ultimately, these quiz competitions are an excellent way to promote a healthy academic culture and inspire students to achieve their full potential. Totally it was an exciting and engaging event.
