Empowering the Next Generation of Achievers at T. K. Madhava Memorial College
Navigating the transition from higher secondary education to university life can be a daunting experience for many students. To bridge this gap and provide crucial clarity, T. K. Madhava Memorial College, Nangiarkulangara, successfully hosted an exclusive Online Career Guidance & FYUGP Orientation on May 28, 2026.
Designed specifically for Plus Two students preparing to take their next major academic leap, the programme aimed to align ambitious young minds with the right educational pathways, staying true to our institutional motto: Liberate through Education.
The highlight of the evening was a comprehensive session led by the esteemed Sri. Ratheesh Kumar S, renowned Career Counsellor and Anchor at Doordarshan Career Point. Bringing his wealth of experience to the virtual stage, he provided students with a structured roadmap for navigating the newly introduced Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP).
Throughout the engaging 7:00 PM session, the core focus remained on actionable advice. Key highlights of his address included:
Exploring the Right Career Path: Moving beyond traditional choices to uncover modern, high-demand opportunities.
Gaining Clarity & Expert Guidance: Breaking down complex FYUGP structures into digestible, easy-to-understand concepts.
Making Informed Decisions: Equipping students with the analytical tools needed to choose courses that align with their personal strengths and professional goals.
To ensure the guidance didn't end when the virtual meeting closed, the college established a dedicated WhatsApp community. By scanning a QR code provided during the promotional campaign, hundreds of prospective students were able to join a supportive network, allowing for continued discussion, updates, and peer-to-peer connection.
As a NAAC Accredited 'A' Grade institution, T. K. Madhava Memorial College remains deeply committed to fostering academic brilliance and career readiness from day one. By helping students discover opportunities, gain clarity, and build their futures, this orientation programme served as a vital stepping stone toward achieving long-term excellence.
We look forward to welcoming many of these bright young minds to our campus in the upcoming academic year!
