The NCC unit of TKMM College, Nangiarkulangara organized an awareness class on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with the objective of promoting cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility among cadets. The session was handled by Mr. Sanoop Sivaraman, NSS Coordinator of the college, who delivered an informative and inspiring talk on the importance of maintaining cleanliness in both personal and public spaces.
The speaker highlighted the vision and objectives of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, emphasizing its role in improving public health, sanitation, and overall quality of life. He also discussed the responsibilities of students and youth in maintaining a clean environment and encouraged active participation in cleanliness drives and community service activities. The class created awareness about waste management practices, including proper disposal, segregation, and the reduction of plastic usage. The session was interactive, motivating cadets to adopt eco-friendly habits and contribute towards building a cleaner and healthier society.
A total of 44 cadets actively participated in the programme. The session was engaging and informative, leaving a positive impact on the participants. The programme concluded successfully with encouraging feedback from the cadets, making it a meaningful initiative towards promoting the values of cleanliness and civic responsibility
