NCC & PTA@TKMM College Felicitates Success: NCC Cadet Relwin J Roy Shines at Republic Day Parade

    NCC Cadet SUO Relwin J Roy was honored as a shining example of TKMM College's spirit, having showcased his skills at the prestigious Republic Day Parade in Delhi on February 13, 2024. The event, a collaboration between the NCC Unit and the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the college, was a proud moment for the institution.

     The felicitation ceremony commenced with a prayer, setting a solemn tone for the proceedings. Lt. Seena V, the Associate NCC Officer, delivered a warm welcome speech, followed by an inspiring presidential address by Principal Dr. P. P. Sharmila. Dr. Rajeev S.R., Head of the Economics Department, Dr. Satheesh Kumar S., from the Department of Political Science and PTA secretary, and Mr. Peethambaran, the office superintendent, graced the occasion with their presence, adding to the significance of the event.

     Adithi Harikumar, a second-year BA English student, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event. The master of ceremony, Sreya Sasikumar, ensured the smooth flow of the program, maintaining an engaging atmosphere throughout.

     A total of 65 NCC cadets and 35 students actively participated in the program, which took place in the college seminar hall. Relwin J Roy, a dedicated third-year English undergraduate student, has shown exceptional commitment by completing various levels of training and competitions, ultimately earning the opportunity to participate in the Republic Day Parade, representing not only himself but also the college with great pride.
