Culinary Extravaganza: Disha College Union's Snack Fest Delights TKMM College

On the vibrant afternoon of February 21, 2024, TKMM College buzzed with excitement as the aroma of delicious snacks filled the air. The Snack Festival, a prelude to the upcoming Arts Festival Kalayattam by Disha College Union, unfolded as a delightful token program, offering a sneak peek into the festivities to come on February 27th and 28th.

A small but lively stall adorned with an array of delectable snacks became the epicenter of the festival. The inauguration, graced by the presence of Ms. K V Lekha, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Malayalam, marked the official commencement of the gastronomic celebration. Ms. Mini R, Head and Associate Professor in Hindi, a prominent figure, added to the vibrant atmosphere, while Ms. Sarsha T S, Assistant Professor in English and Union Advisor, lent her support to the event.

The festival was attended by an esteemed gathering, including Ms. Soumya VS, Head and Assistant Professor in English, Dr. Parvathy U, Ms. Sangeetha Hariharan, Ms. Athira M Raj, Ms. Remya V R, and other Assistant Professors in English. The Mathematics department was well represented by Ms. Renjini, Head and Assistant Professor, and Ms. Dhanya, Assistant Professor. Dr. Vinod C also graced the event with his presence.

Under the coordinated efforts of College Union Chairperson Ms. Pooja P Godake, Kerala University Union Vice Chairperson Ms. Anagha Raj, and other prominent union members, the festival unfolded with joyous camaraderie. The stall offered an assortment of snacks, refreshing watermelon juice, and aromatic tea, all meticulously curated to delight the taste buds of eager students and faculty alike.

The festival, culminating at 2 pm, left everyone with a sense of happiness and anticipation for the grandeur that awaits at Kalayattam, promising a fusion of art, culture, and culinary delights in the upcoming Arts Festival.
