Collaborative Initiatives in Education and Employability: 

MoU Signing with between Veranda Learning Solutions

    In an exciting development for educational collaboration, T. K. Madhava Memorial College in Nangiarkulangara, Haripad, Alappuzha, and Veranda Learning Solutions Limited in Thirumalai Pillai Road, T. Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on February 20th, 2024. The MOU signing was a significant event, officiated by Dr. P P Sharmila, Principal of T.K.M.M. College Nangiarkulangara, and Mr. Anoop Kumar S. representing Ms. Saradha Govindarajan, VLS. Faculty coordinators, Dr. Divya Dinesh, Assistant Professor in Chemistry, and Smt. Athira M Raj, Assistant Professor in English, were also present at the ceremony.

 

The collaboration introduces the Veranda Club, a transformative initiative by Veranda Learning Solutions, designed to empower and equip students with essential skills and resources to enhance their employability in various sectors, including Government Jobs and Higher education opportunities. Veranda Learning Solutions supports clubs in organizing, managing, and funding activities and projects beneficial to their colleges. They also provide guidance and support to Club members through pep talks and exposure to the working environment via field visits, among other activities. Key club activities include Mock Interviews, Resume workshops, Information sessions, Job shadowing, Internship fairs, Professional development workshops, and Networking events.
