Beginning a New Era: TKMM College Inaugurates FYUGP 2026-27 Batch

 



 Marked by academic enthusiasm and a vision for future-focused learning, T.K. Madhava Memorial (TKMM) College officially commenced its Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) for the 2026–27 academic year. Titled*"First Chapter," the official orientation and inauguration ceremony took place today at 9:30 AM in a packed College Seminar Hall, drawing an eager crowd of newly admitted first-year students, their guardians, faculty members, and prominent local dignitaries.

Affiliated with the University of Kerala and NAAC Accredited with an 'A' Grade, TKMM College is embracing the restructured university curriculum with this newly launched four-year degree format. The program is designed to deliver a multidisciplinary, holistic learning experience that aligns with modern global educational standards. The ceremony featured an esteemed panel of educators and local governance leaders who shared their insights and wishes for the incoming batch:

The event began with a welcoming address by Dr. Tintu R. (Associate Professor & Head, PG & Research Department of Physics), setting a warm and encouraging tone for the day. Dr. Venu S. the Principal-in-Charge, delivered the presidential address, laying out the institution's strategic goals and structural vision for the four-year course layout.  The event was officially inaugurated by Smt. Vrinda S. Kumar* (Chairperson, Haripad Municipality), who spoke eloquently at the podium to inspire students to utilize the next four years to build strong civic foundations and innovative professional skills. Special keynotes were delivered by Sri. V. K. Nadhan (President, Haripad Block Panchayat) and Adv. T. S. Thaha (President, Muthukulam Block Panchayat), emphasizing community engagement, academic rigor, and utilizing college resources optimally.

  The platform saw active participation from Sri. S. Salikumar (RDC Convener), Sri. J. P. Prasanth (Office Superintendent), Smt. Sreeja Sunil (PTA Vice President), and Sri. B. Ravikumar (President, Alumni Association). Representing the student body, Ms. Aliya Muhammed Habeeb (Vice Chairperson, College Union) shared key peer insights.  The program concluded smoothly with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Dhanya Shajin (PTA Secretary).
