The Vimukthi Club organized a comprehensive Anti-Drug Awareness Program on the morning of June 25, 2026. Held in the College Library, the event was designed to educate the student community about the severe physical, mental, and social consequences of substance abuse. The program championed the powerful and direct message: "Say No to Drugs."

The keynote session was delivered by Ms. Priyanka P R, a Psychologist associated with the Jeevani Centre for Well-being. She provided crucial psychological insights into the root causes of addiction, the vulnerability of young adults, and effective coping mechanisms to handle peer pressure and stress without resorting to illicit substances.Institutional Collaboration: The program highlighted the active synergy between the campus Vimukthi Club (operating under the Kerala State Mission for De-addiction) and the Jeevani initiative, emphasizing a holistic approach to student mental health and safety. 

 Discussions centered around identifying early warning signs of drug use, the importance of seeking timely psychological help, and fostering a supportive peer network on campus.  The Anti-Drug Awareness Program successfully sensitized attendees, equipping them with the necessary knowledge to make informed, healthy life choices. It reinforced the institution's commitment to maintaining a safe, drug-free academic environment and ensuring the holistic well-being of its students.
