Discussed about sexual consent, sexual health, sexually transmitted diseases,
safe sex, healthy sexual practices, reproductive health, family planning, etc. Identified
a student with some difficulties, who needs psychological intervention. Jeevani counsellor reported this to the
HOD and class tutor and told them to make an immediate referral for an
individual counselling session.

Today's
second session was in Economics (S1) class. The counsellor began by collecting
the assignments given to them at the previous session. Today the rapport was
good. Discussed the importance of September 4 – ‘world sexual health day’.
Discussed about sexual consent, sexual health, sexually transmitted diseases,
safe sex, healthy sexual practices, reproductive health, family planning, etc.
Students asked several doubts to the counsellor. Before leaving, the counsellor
collected feedback from the students.
Time:
2.45 pm – 3.30 pm
Interacted
with BCom TT & CA (S1) students. Building rapport with this group was
extremely difficult for the Jeevani counsellor. Students were not at all
cooperative. Counsellor tried to briefly explain the ‘JEEVANI’ project. Later,
the counsellor discussed life skills and their importance. Then the counsellor
discussed how to monitor screen time. It was very difficult to handle this
group.
