Gender Justice Forum of T.K.M.M College organized a programme on “Gender Justice – Respecting Strengths, Ensuring Equality” to sensitize students and faculty about the importance of gender justice in academic and social life.
Forum was officially inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Bibin Ezhuplackal MCBS, noted filmmaker, storyteller, and social media influencer. The inauguration was marked by the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment, followed by his inaugural address.
Fr. Bibin Ezhuplackal explained the importance of gender justice, emphasizing that while men and women differ in mental, physical, and emotional strengths, true justice lies in respecting these differences and ensuring fairness, dignity, and opportunity for all.To make the session engaging, he used film clippings, slides, and interactive discussions to illustrate how inclusiveness and respect can foster harmony in educational institutions, workplaces, and society.The event was enlightening and motivational, reaffirming the college’s dedication to promoting gender justice. The lamp lighting and inaugural address by Father Bibin Ezhuplackal set a solemn and inspiring tone, ensuring that the Forum begins its academic year with clarity of vision and purpose.
