The Department of Economics organized the much-anticipated 'Darshan '23' Seminar on January 10, 2024, focusing on the crucial theme of "Net Zero Transitions: Issues & Challenges." occasion began with a warm welcome extended by Dr. Rajeev S.R, Head of the
Department of Economics. His opening remarks set a tone of enthusiasm for the

The
Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. P. P. Sharmila, the Principal of our
institution. Dr. Sharmila highlighted the significance of such forums in

The
distinguished resource person for the event was Dr. Mothi George, Associate
Professor at Government College Ambalapuzha. Dr. George's expertise in
environmental economics provided a valuable perspective on the issues and
challenges associated with achieving net zero emissions. His insightful
presentation covered various aspects, including economic implications and
policy considerations.
The
session saw active participation from students and faculty alike, with engaging

Vote of Thanks was extended by Dr. T. Sreeja, IQAC Coordinator. Dr. Sreeja
