The
Department of Physical Education, TKMM College, Nangiarkulangara, Haripad, Alappuzha,
as a part of the DARSAN 23 Multidisciplinary Seminar Series, conducted a
seminar titled “BEYOND
THE SPORTS ARENA” on 16th January
2024, at the College Seminar Hall. This seminar served as a unique
platform, bringing together diverse minds, experiences, and perspectives to
delve into Outside the sports arena, passions intertwine with daily life,
creating a rich tapestry of experiences and connections.
The
distinguished resource person for the event was Mr. Abhilash S S, Assistant Professor
at Government Kasargod. Esteemed keynote speaker Mr. Abhilash S S , shared
their journeys and expertise, providing valuable insights into the diverse
opportunities available within the sports industry. His experience highlighted
that sports-related careers encompass not only athletic prowess but also skills
in sports management, sports marketing, sports journalism, and more. His
stories served not only as a source of inspiration but also as a roadmap for
those navigating the intricate landscape of sports careers.
The seminar session saw an impressive turnout, with students and faculty from diverse academic backgrounds showing keen understanding and interest in exploring sports-related career options.
