Inauguration of advanced certificate course

The commencement of the advanced certificate course in GST, Taxation, Excel, and GST accounting with Tally Prime software, organized by the PG Department of Commerce in collaboration with SG Academy and Associates, Thiruvananthapuram, took place on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 10 am. Dr. Sharmila P P, Principal of TKMM College, Nangiarkulangara, presided over the inaugural ceremony.

Welcoming the participants, Smt. Divya. P. Bhadran, Assistant Professor and Head of the PG Department of Commerce, extended a warm welcome. Dr. S.R. Rajeev, Associate Professor of Economics at TKMM College, and Dr. Sreeja T, Assistant Professor of Chemistry at TKMM College, conveyed their best wishes for the success of the program. The keynote address was delivered by CMA Shibu Gopi, a Cost and Management Accountant affiliated with ICMAI, who is actively engaged in both practice and as a faculty member for CA, CMA, and CS.

Following the inaugural ceremony, a technical session was conducted, providing participants with valuable insights. The program concluded at 1 pm with a vote of thanks proposed by Smt. Athira.s, a faculty member in the Department of Commerce. The event marked a significant step in enhancing knowledge and skills in the domains of GST, taxation, Excel, and GST accounting with Tally Prime software.
