Science
Day is celebrated on 28 February every year as an elegy to the most well-known
Indian scientist Dr C V Raman for his marvellous discovery known as Raman
Effect.
In
connection with Science day, Science club in association with Mathematics
Department of T K Madhava Memorial College, Nangiarkulangara conducted a
science quiz SCIENTISTA 2024 on 22.03.2024.
Dr.
Chalana S R., Assistant Professor of Physics and member of Science club, T K M
M College, Nangiaarkulanga, was the Quiz master. Conduction of the quiz were
completely done in quizizz, a software for quiz in online. Students from all
departments of our college participated in this programme.
Abhiraj
of second year BA Economics, won first prize, a cash award of Rs1000/-, memento
and certificate. Ambady Aravind of second year BSc Mathematics securedsecond
prize and Anoop kumar of first year BSc Industrial Chemistry secured third
prize.

Dr.
Sharmila P P, the Principal, TKMM College, Nangiarkulangra distributed the cash
prize, mementos and certificates
The
program ended with the vote of thanks by third student Ms. Adhenna Vijay. The
event was a great success, providing students with scientific sense and
acknowledgement of science day.
