March 7, 2024, the Department of Economics, in collaboration with Apex Academy,
organized a career awareness program titled "Securities Market Career
Opportunities" for final year B.A Economics students. The event was held
in the Zoology seminar hall, commencing at 11 A.M.

Mr.
Manoj T. Neelakandan, a certified trainer from SEBI, served as the
distinguished speaker for the session. With his expertise, Mr. Neelakandan
inspired and educated students about the various career avenues available in
the securities market field. His engaging presentation captivated the audience,
providing valuable insights into the industry's dynamics and growth prospects.
The
program featured practical sessions where students actively participated,
gaining hands-on experience and practical knowledge. The interactive sessions
allowed students to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios,
enhancing their understanding of the subject matter.
The event concluded at 1 p.m., leaving students enlightened and motivated to pursue careers in the securities market. The Department of Economics and Apex Academy were commended by Principal, Dr. P. P. Sharmila for organizing such an insightful and beneficial program for the students.
