The
Arts Day Celebrations, known as Kalayattam, held on February 27th and 28th,
2024, were a vibrant display of talent and creativity. The Department of Mathematics
enthusiastically participated in the festivities organized by the College
Union, DISA 2023-24. On the 27th, a Cultural Procession marked the beginning of
the celebrations at 11 am, with all students of the Mathematics Department
actively involved. The procession must have been a colorful and lively affair,
showcasing the department's unity and spirit.

The
following day, on February 28th, the first-year students of BSc Mathematics
showcased their talents through a mesmerizing group dance performance. The
theme of the dance was spiritual and holistic, adding a profound and meaningful
touch to the event. The students, aptly described as the butterflies of the
department, adorned themselves in colorful dresses, adding to the visual
splendor of the performance. Their graceful movements and synchronized steps
surely captivated the audience, making the Mathematics Department proud
participants in the Kalayattam celebrations.
